Motorcycles are loud, and road noise can be even louder at highway speeds. So how do you develop a speaker system that can beat out the noise and bring you high quality sound? Harley-Davidson seems to have developed the perfect answer to this conundrum with Boom! Audio. Each of the components has been tested for maximum functionality in a variety of riding scenarios, from highway riding to city street cruising. From the speakers to the amps to the equalizer, each part is specially designed to cut through the sound of wind, traffic, and engine noise.

Best of all, the Boom! Audio system uses a plug-in-play. What that means for you is that installation is a snap—no wire soldering or complicated testing needed. With this system, you get an immediate boost in audio listening capabilities, but you do so without compromising your bike’s existing electronics. SOUND EQUALIZATION WITH BOOM! AUDIO

While you might not think of your motorcycle as having what a sound engineer might call “studio conditions,” you might be surprised at how close it gets thanks to Boom! Audio’s sound equalization system. This system helps to put the right sound ranges in each speaker to make sure you always get the best sound quality. If you go for the simple two speaker setup, you get a full range of sound levels from bass to treble in both speakers, making everything from rock to country to R&B sound great. When you upgrade to the full four speaker design, the sound levels are split between the front fairing speakers and the rear luggage rack speakers giving more of a “surround sound” style of audio. These speakers work with the EQ and the amps to give you great sound, and the amps are even designed to take whatever type of sound input you throw at them for best results. TWO STAGES OF BOOM! AUDIO

The Boom! Audio system is designed to meet your needs, however loud and clear you want to go. For this reason, they’ve implemented a two stage system to give customers more choices. Stage I features a two speaker setup with 75-watts of output and two-way functionality. The speakers use both woofers and tweeters to provide high and low frequency sound with plenty of clarity and volume.

Stage II adds even more volume with two extra speakers and more capabilities. The four bi-amplified, 150-watt speakers give you all the boost you need for some bone-shaking sound. They also feature three-way capabilities for even better sound handling ability. These speaker systems give you so much sound, no one will wonder what you’re listening to… they’ll be able to hear it for themselves!
